  1. Hello! Can you tell me more about the Sikwako Falls Pool and Lucot Cave? where are they exactly? Where their name origin from? Can you please send me tips on how to get there? Thank you so much. Mabuhay Tarlac!

    • Hi Pan!

Sikwako Falls and Lucot Caves are both located in Bamban, Tarlac. To get there from Tarlac, you may ride any jeepney bound for Bamban and alight right before the Bamban Bridge. To your right you will see a road, hire a tricycle for P400 to Sitio Sta. Rosa where the jumpoff point is.

Other options for transportation are 1. bringing your own vehicle or 2. hiring a jeepney for P800-1000.

Sikwako Falls is 1km from the jumpoff point and takes about one hour of trekking while Lucot Caves is 500 meters from the jumpoff point and takes 30 minutes.

Best time to visit these sights is between July to February.

Sadly, I don’t have much knowledge on the origins of their names except that Lucot Caves were rumored to have provided shelter to the Japanese during the World War II. I will update you though once I get any additional info on these places.

      I hope this helps :D
